Does my camera have built-in memory? top This device has a 32MB internal memory (no memory card is needed for basic operation). To expand the capacity, you can insert a MMC/SD card to the memory card slot. -
What memory card does Mustek DV 9300 use? top Mustek DV9300 can support both MMC and SD cards. Note: In order to use SD cards for DV9300, you need to unlock your card and disable antivirus. -
How do I delete pictures? top Option 1: Power on the camera and select Playback mode. Press Menu button and choose from the following options: Delete one: delete a current selected picture, video, or MP3/WMA file. Delete all: delete all pictures, videos, and MP3/WMA files. Format: delete all files in the internal memory/memory card. Option 2: Connect your camera to a computer with the USB cable provided in the package. Go to My Computers and double click Removable disk. Open the folder that contains the file you wish to delete. Select the file and click delete. -

Once connected and powered on, choose “Mass Storage” option shows on cameras LCD screen and press OK. Follow the instructions below to complete the process: Note: Make sure you connect to your computer (NOT to a USB hub). - Go to MY COMPUTER.
- Double-click REMOVABLE DISK drive.
- Double-click DCIM folder.
- Double-click 100Media folder.
- Click EDIT then choose SELECT ALL. (All files are highlighted after clicking SELECT ALL).
- Click EDIT and select COPY.
- Open a folder you wish to transfer your files to.
- Click EDIT and select PASTE.

I have a Macintosh computer. How do I transfer my pictures and video to a computer? top Use USB cable provided in the package to connect your camera to a computer. Once connected and powered on, choose “Mass Storage” option shows on cameras LCD screen and press OK. Follow the instructions below to complete the process: Note: Make sure you connect to your computer (NOT to a USB hub). - Double-click “Untitled” or “Unlabeled” icon.
- Double-click DCIM folder.
- Double-click 100Media folder.
- Select the file(s) you want to transfer.
- Go to EDIT menu and click COPY.
- Open a folder you wish to transfer your files.
- Go to EDIT menu again and click PASTE.
When finish, drag “Untitled” disk to Trash and disconnect your camera. NOTE: DO NOT change any file names in 100Media folder. This may cause the memory card and camera to malfunction. -
When I connect my Mustek camera to a TV, I can not see any pictures on TV screen. What should I do? top After connecting your Mustek camera to a television, you need to find a right video channel. Press video, input, or auxiliary’ button on your TV remote until you see an output from your Mustek camera. -
When I connect my Mustek camera to a television, the picture scrolls and/or the picture is black and white. What is the problem? top You need to change the video setting on your camera from PAL to NTSC. Go to camera MENU and select an icon of television. Switch the setting to NTSC and connect your camera to a television. -
When I connect my camera to a computer, the console opens and gives me an error message of “thumbnails could not be loaded.” How can I fix this? top If the Console program states that your camera is not connected and can not load any thumbnails OR if the camera is not detected by your computer, please follow the instructions below: IF YOU ARE RUNNING WINDOWS 98 OR ME: Make sure the camera is NOT connected to your computer. - Right-click on MY COMPUTER icon.
- Left-click on PROPERTIES.
- Click DEVICE MANAGER Tab.
- Turn the camera on and connect it to an available USB port (DO NOT connect the camera through a USB HUB).
- In the DEVICE MANAGER, look for any devices that appear after the camera is connected. The device will have a yellow exclamation point or yellow question mark next to it. If you do not see any devices appear, please press MODE button on the camera (pressing this button will toggle the camera between Mass Storage and PC Camera modes).
- If the device is called “USB device” or “Unknown device”, double-click it.
- Click REINSTALL DRIVER.
- Click NEXT, OK or FINISH until the drivers are updated successfully.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING WINDOWS 2000 OR XP: Make sure the camera is NOT connected to your computer. - Right-click on MY COMPUTER.
- Left-click on PROPERTIES.
- Click HARDWARE tab.
- Click DEVICE MANAGER
- Turn the camera on and connect it to an available USB port (DO NOT connect the camera through a USB HUB).
- In the DEVICE MANAGER, look for any devices that appear after you connect the camera. The device will have a yellow exclamation point or yellow question mark next to it. If you do not see any such devices, press the MODE button on the camera (pressing this button will toggle the camera between Mass Storage and PC Camera modes).

NOTE: During this process, the CONSOLE may open up automatically saying the camera is not connected, simply close the CONSOLE. After closing the CONSOLE, a “Found New Hardware” window may appear, simply click NEXT, OK or FINISH until the drivers are installed. Once the drivers are installed, close all windows/programs and restart your computer (keep your camera powered on and connected to the computer). Now, you should be able to access the pictures in the CONSOLE. -
How do I copy music files to my Mustek camera? top DV9300 can play both WMA and MP3 files. Make sure you copy your files to Music folder of cameras internal memory/external memory card. Instructions are the following: - Open the folder where your MP3s /WMA files are located.
- Connect your camera (power on) to a computer.
- Go to MY COMPUTER.
- Double-click REMOVABLE DISK drive.
- Double-click Music folder
- Drag and drop the MP3/WMA files from the folder where your files are located to the Music folder of camera’s internal memory.
TO PLAY MUSIC ON YOUR CAMERA: Turn on your camera, switch to the Music Player mode and select a file to play. NOTE: DO NOT add files or change file names in 100Media folder. This can cause the memory card to malfunction. -
How do I connect my camera to a printer? top Direct print function only works for printers with PictBridge feature. Regular printers can not perform direct print function. -
How do I charge my camera? top Option 1: Charge via USB cable Option 2: Charge via AC adapter | CHARGE INDICATOR | ON/OFF | STATUS | | RED | ON | Charging Camera: Power Off | | RED | OFF | Fully charged Camera: Power Off | | ORANGE | ON | Charging Camera: Power On | Note: For first time use, it takes 3-4 hrs to fully charge the battery. -
How do I protect a file from accidental delete? top - Set the Mode dial to Playback
- Press the Menu button
- Use the Control button to scroll up and down to find Lock icon
- Select the Lock icon and press the Control button once to confirm
- Go back to the file you wish to lock or unlock
- Press the Control button once to confirm
- Press Menu button at anytime to exit

What is motion detection recording? top This feature allows users to set the camera at one location. The camera will start recording automatically when it detects motion and stop when no motion is detected. When the motion is detected, a countdown symbol will appear on the LCD screen. After 3 seconds, it will start recording. Note: Motion detect only works within short range of distance. -
How to apply Scene to photo? top - Set the Mode dial to Take Photo
- Press the Menu button
- Use the Control button to navigate to Photo
- Use the Control button to scroll down to Scene and choose from the following options:
- Auto: Adjusts scene automatically
- Landscape: Enhances the contrast of image color for the vivid landscape photo
- Sports: Captures fast-moving
- Night Shutter: Sharpens the portrait with dark background in dark places
- Beach & Ski: Captures objects under bright sunlight
- Sunset & Moon: Captures objects under sunset or moon lighting environments
