The MDC-800 captures vivid images for immediate viewing on its built-in LCD, creates video directly on a personal computer through USB connection, records real-time video directly to a TV or VCR with the included NTSC cable, or can be used as a video conferencing camera.

The Mustek MDC-800 measures 5.4" x 2.9" x 2.0" and weighs 9.2 ounces (without the batteries). It features a 1/3-inch 850K pixel progressive Sony CCD, a 1.8 inch TFD color video LCD and 1024 x 768 XGA interpolated high resolution. It includes 4MB built-in memory and supports removable Compact Flash cards up to 96MB for increased memory capacity. The MDC-800 has an on-screen display that provides both picture preview and operating functions (with features that are easily controlled from a menu appearing on the LCD display) and continuous shoot capabilities (storing up to 16 pictures). In addition, downloading and uploading images to and from the PC is easy with the MDC-800�s Universal Serial Bus port (baud rate of 12Mbps) and serial port (baud rate of 115Kbps).
