| The Instant Access OCR program included in the TextBridge Classic thatships with Mustek Scanners does not work with Microsoft Word 97 due toprogramming changes in the new version of Word. You may use TextBridge Classic as a standalone program which has theability to save files in a format that is readable by Microsoft Word 97,or you can downloadInstant Access 97 from Xerox’s TextBridge Web Site. Be sure toprint the installation instructions when you download the file. Only Word97 users need to get this patch file. The patch works with all languageversions of TextBridge Classic; however, the menus within Instant Access97 will appear in English only. IMPORTANT NOTE: When I installedInstant Access 97 here at Mustek, the instructions that came with it didnot work completely. Microsoft Word was already listed as a registeredapplication with Instant Access 97 the first time I ran Instant Access97. I had to DELETE Microsoft Word from the list of Registered Applicationsand then ADD it back before TextBridge OCR would appear on the MicrosoftWord File Menu. |
