Afterclicking OK, you get an error message saying "Lead45.dll has beencorrupted." |
Cause:When installing Micrografx Picture Publisher, the installation needsto copy a file called Lead45.dll into your Windows directory. Lead45.dllis a generic file that comes bundled with many programs. The Picture PublisherCD installs Lead45.dll at C:windowslead45.dll. America Onlineand otherprograms install lead45.dll at C:windowssystemlead45.dll. When you havetwo copies of the file installed in diffferent locations, the Windows 95Registry doesn’t know which one to use and you get the above error message. Solution:1. Click the Windows 95 START button and select Find Files Or Folders. 2. Type in lead45.dll and press the Find Now button. 3. Windows will find two copies of lead45.dll. Highlight the copy thatis in the C:windowssystem Folder. 4. Press the DEL key on your computer to move the extra file tothe Recycle Bin. The location of the lead45.dll installed by Picture Publisher is recordedin the Windows 95 Registry. All programs that use this file will automaticallyuse this remaining lead45.dll file.
