The Plug-N-Scan 600 II SP attaches to your printer port foreasy installation. There’s no need to open your computer to install aninterface card. A second pass-thru port on the back of the scanner allowsattachment of your printer.

The Paragon 600 II SP offers 24-bit true-color scans, capable of capturingover 16.7 million different colors in a single-pass.

Photographs, logos, illustrations or text can be scanned at resolutionsfrom 72 to 4800 dots-per-inch (dpi). The true optical resolution of 300x 600 dpi is electronically enhanced in hardware to 600 x 600 dpi and throughsoftware to 4800 dpi.

Text Recognition SoftwareIncluded

Xerox TextBridge Classic OCR for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 are included.This software allows the user to scan and recognize text. Text can be scannedfrom documents directly into word processing software. Scanned text canbe edited without retyping.

TWAIN Compliant

TWAIN is an industry standard that allows scanning directly into supportedapplications. Through TWAIN, the Plug-n-Scan 600 II SP can scan directlyinto many programs, providing flexibility and value.

Internet File SaveFormats

The included image-editing software allows the Plug-n-Scan 600 II SPto save in JPEG and GIF file formats. The GIF file format allows transparentareas and interlaced downloading.
